For most of us, public schools are foundational to getting a good start in life. However, the pandemic has exposed the generational inequities that have and will only continue to harm Black, Indigenous, Asian American and Pacific Islander, and Latinx students if we stick with the status quo.

LCFF is already working in our schools, but we can continue to build momentum for a more fair and racially just future by defending the LCFF equity provisions and pushing for a well-funded education system, pursuing stronger student and family engagement, and strengthening school climate and social-emotional supports for students and educators alike.
