2021 SYLA YEARBOOK

In 2021, we celebrated 20 years of our Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA). To mark this amazing milestone, we put together an anniversary class yearbook: “Flashback to the Future: 20 Years of SYLA and Youth Power.”

Since the very first class in 2001, SYLA has uplifted new generations of youth leaders by developing their leadership skills and political analysis. Over the years more than 1,200 youth leaders have attended the academy, finding their voice and taking their leadership back to classrooms, communities and careers across the state.
