The ABC Strategy

Californians for Justice believes in using a strategic approach to taking action to win justice in public schools. Our ABC Strategy utilizes alliance, base, and campaigns to make change.

A is for Alliance. CFJ leads a statewide alliance of over one hundred organizations, the Campaign for Quality Education, which brings together the power of student and parent-led community organizations with research, legal, and advocacy groups to fight for statewide policy changes.

B is for Base. We have an active base of youth and parents in four cities: Oakland , Fresno , San Jose , and Long Beach. We build our base through outreach, leadership development, and direct organizing.

C is for Campaigns . CFJ undertakes regional and statewide campaigns to build broad support, change the public debate about educational quality, and to achieve tangible policy changes at the local and state level.
